I think the choice of singer here is PERFECT. Like “Ghanchakkar Babu”, the beats and instruments of this song are quite simple, relying mostly on saxophone and synth. The ending of the song is just perfect – it just dies! Definitely think this is one of the best in the full soundtrack. Trivedi has done a marvellous job at showing us that not a lot is needed to compose good songs if the tune is good! But it is this that is also very effective in a sense. Okay, true, the song can get slightly repetitive after a while – especially since the beats and instruments of the song are quite simple. The song is interspersed with little chorus parts/ echoes done by this squeaky female voice and this does great justice to the overall craziness of the song! The lyrics, just like the title of the movie itself are very crazy and hilarious. I must say, both Trivedi’s music and singing style were perfect for the lyrics penned by Bhattacharya. The full soundtrack was released on May 24, 2013. The fifth song in the soundtrack is a remix of “ghanchakkar babu”. All of it’s original songs (4: “Jhollu Ram”, “Ghanchakkar Babu”, “Allah Meherban” and “Lazy Lad”) consist of very fun lyrics and entertaining bits of music put together. Overall, the soundtrack of this movie is interesting.
